    Agreement to Terms

    Welcome to AutoIQ Electrical Services LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing our website at autoiqelectrical.com or using our automotive electrical diagnostic and repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

    If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

    1. Services Description

    AutoIQ Electrical Services LLC is a specialized automotive electrical diagnostics and repair center located in North Port, Florida. We provide ONLY electrical-related services, including but not limited to:

    • Automotive electrical diagnostics using dealer-level diagnostic equipment
    • ECM, BCM, TCM, and other module programming
    • CAN bus fault tracing and communication diagnostics
    • Immobilizer system diagnostics and key programming (mobile and in-shop)
    • High-voltage battery service for hybrid and electric vehicles
    • Component-level electrical repair (BCM EEPROM repair, wiring harness diagnostics)

    We do NOT provide general automotive repair services such as oil changes, brake service, tire service, transmission repair, or engine mechanical work.

    2. Diagnostic Fee and Payment Terms

    Diagnostic Fee:

    Our standard diagnostic fee is $160 for comprehensive electrical system analysis. This fee is non-refundable if you choose not to proceed with recommended repairs after diagnosis.

    Diagnostic Fee Credit:

    If you proceed with the repair service after diagnostic evaluation, the $160 diagnostic fee will be applied as a credit toward the total repair cost.

    No-Find Guarantee:

    If we are unable to identify the root cause of your electrical issue during our comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, you will NOT be charged the diagnostic fee.

    Payment Methods:

    We accept cash, all major credit cards, and checks. Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements are made in advance for fleet/commercial clients.

    3. Service Warranty and Guarantees

    Workmanship Warranty:

    We warrant our labor and workmanship for 90 days from the date of service completion. If a problem recurs that is directly related to our repair work within this period, we will re-diagnose and repair at no additional labor charge.

    Parts Warranty:

    Parts installed by AutoIQ are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Used or customer-supplied parts are installed at customer's risk with no warranty unless otherwise stated.

    Warranty Exclusions:

    This warranty does not cover damage caused by: (a) improper use or maintenance of the vehicle, (b) modifications made after our service, (c) accident or collision, (d) normal wear and tear, or (e) electrical issues unrelated to our original repair scope.

    4. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoIQ Electrical Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services.

    Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

    Important: Automotive electrical diagnostics is a complex technical process. While we use factory-level diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer procedures, we cannot guarantee that every electrical issue can be resolved, especially in cases involving multiple intermittent faults, water damage, or severely corroded wiring harnesses.

    5. Customer Responsibilities

    By using our services, you agree to:

    • Provide accurate information about your vehicle's symptoms and history
    • Inform us of any previous electrical modifications or aftermarket installations
    • Remove all valuable personal items from your vehicle before service
    • Authorize all diagnostic and repair work in writing or via documented phone/SMS consent
    • Pick up your vehicle within 5 business days of service completion notification
    • Pay all charges promptly upon service completion
    6. Vehicle Storage and Abandoned Property

    Vehicles left on our premises after service completion are stored at owner's risk. After 30 days of non-payment and failure to retrieve the vehicle despite reasonable attempts to contact you, the vehicle may be considered abandoned property and disposed of in accordance with Florida state law.

    Storage fees of $50 per day will be assessed for vehicles not picked up within 10 business days of completion notification.

    7. SMS Communication and Consent

    By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive appointment reminders, service status updates, and vehicle ready notifications via SMS from AutoIQ Electrical Services.

    Message frequency: Up to 8 messages per month (approximately 2-4 per service appointment). Message and data rates may apply. You may opt-out at any time by replying STOP. To resume after opting out, text START or contact us at (833) 700-4005.

    8. Privacy & SMS Data Handling

    Data Collection and Use:

    We collect your name, phone number, email address, and vehicle information solely to provide automotive electrical services. Your phone number is used exclusively for appointment reminders and service updates related to your vehicle repair.

    Data Storage and Protection:

    Customer information is stored securely and retained for service history and warranty purposes. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access.

    Third-Party Sharing:

    We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared only with service providers necessary to operate our business (e.g., SMS delivery platform, payment processing) or as required by law.

    Opt-Out and Data Deletion:

    You may request deletion of your contact information by emailing info@autoiqelectrical.com or calling (833) 700-4005. Note that we may retain service records for warranty and legal compliance purposes.

    9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

    These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

    Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Sarasota County, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

    10. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
